McGraw-Hill's NAPLEX Review Guide in PDF
For those people who are about to take the NCLEX or any similar standardized exam, reading through the book entitled" McGraw Hill's NAPLEX Review Guide" by Sutton might be a good idea. It's composed by a former test-taker and is full of sample questions, explanation of terms, and an evaluation of the material. All you have to pass the NCLEX exam and two practice tests in one customer-review package written by a former instructor who has tested thousand of students in one student-review package written by an ex-troupe financier who has tutored thousand of students, and so on. There are even free sample questions and answers in the book. This review will discuss three areas of the material that will be discussed in the rest of my article.
The first area that is discussed in this guide is what will be required of a person taking the NCLEX. There are three parts to this: the comprehension portion of the test, the listening section, and the writing test. If you understand what these are and know how to apply them, then you can probably breeze through this part of the test. There are sample tests from past years that show these types of questions and you'll find them included in the guide.
The second area covered in the guide is the listening and comprehension tests. Reading is usually considered the easier of the two parts of a test, but it is important for the listening section as well. This is where the experts come in. Some reviewers actually talk about what they listened to in an "answering question" and how they logically think about it. I found some really useful tips for using audio and video materials for studying while doing the review.
