at the moment  this site is down or certainly no response, will try later.

Not a real problem that the WR703N can't be or is more difficult to hack,(would be handy to simply get the thing flashed to English instructions as it's a useful device anyway)  it seems in general that the available routers have less memory, are incomplete like my redundant Thomson one (lots of links missing off the PCB etc.  And a problem is that most new or used models when advertised don't quote the version which is critical for updating.

Sorry, didn't realise they had mucked them up, used to be so easy. It is still possible, another method is http://www.shadowandy.net/2015/03/flashing-tp-link-tl-wr703n-v1-7-to-openwrt.htm

This seems to be assuming the username is "admin" and password is "admin42". I have simplified the instructions slightly:

Instal a tftp and curl
Download and unzip https://zi.is/tp.zip
Edit 'aa' and 'hack' with your IP address; replacing "192.168.1.9"
Point a tftp server at the files you unzipped.
run `hack`

If that fails because of the new password then run `hack2` instead.

This would be possible from Windows, but probably easier on anything else.

Posting it to me via the Hackspace would accomplish the same.
