I was setting up the table saw and this happened.

It looks like it has happened before and welded back together.

Yeah it's broken and be rewelded before, If you've got all the bits I
can give it another go.

Fixed, made a new lever for the lock

Credit to Rob for the idea of re-using an old 17mm socket to make it

Was good to get a little practice with grinding and lathe work on fully
hardened materials.
