Always possible to fix a 3D printer, just depends how far off original spec one is willing to go J
Board is not likely Sailfish due to the presence of (multiple!) ARM chips. Sailfish is quite specific to the series of MakerBot derived MightyBoard drivers.
The error condition is pretty unusual and very much a proprietary board so we’re into standard electronics troubleshooting. Looks like you’ve already done the first thing I’d suggest, remove as many connections as possible and see if it will boot up. Power rails steady?
Video could be handy? Would you want to go as far as replacing the board with an open source one? I’ve resurrected a number of printers that way!
Cheers,

One thing… might not be related to this issue, but a common issue - check the yellow diodes next to the row of 4x 5x5mm stepper driver chips near the power supply plug on the board. Are any of them hot or discoloured?

Subject: [RDG-Hack] 3d printer fault finding - flashforge
My friend and I are looking to bring this printer back to life and wondered if anyone had any input?
It takes 15 minutes to boot up and display a menu then if you press a button takes a further 15m to display the next menu but goes no further. Not visible over usb or WiFi. No reset button? Struggling to even get a good I'd on the board? Possibly sailfish?
Thanks!

Do check out the above. Weird, idiosyncratic issue affecting the Flashforge Dreamer. Does yours have a removable internal SD card?
Cheers,
