the info i found for which pins to short to get the thing to turn on
doesnt seam to work :(. bought one of the cheapest... next time ill get
a more popular and documented one.
so as i cant use it, would anyone like it?
heres a picture:

There is a some solder on some of the contacts left from my testing but
i expect most of it can be removed and won’t stop it working in a server
again.

it does have a dent in the bottom, (seller didnt mention grr) and it
does make a psu switching noise :/

pinout i tried:

idk why but 2 of those 3 pins have volts on them, one has 2.*V and the
other 3.*V .

oh and it doesnt have a fan so you’ll want to attach one to the end of it.

Is a server psu very different from a standard pc psu? Because I shorted one to get some extrapower to run my gpu and that worked fine

non-standard connectors. proprietary with no documentation and a
different form factor from PC PSU’s but 2rd hand there very cheap for
700Ws of power :) £10-20 instead of £100 for a nice meanwell band of PSU :)
