Anyone interested in a group buy of Minimus 32K version ?
They have more Flash and RAM(1K vs 0.5K). I need this bit more space for  a couple of my projects.

I have now got a few more things working on the smaller Minimus.

Bus-Ninja is an Atmel version of BusPirate which allows control of SPI and I2C devices over the USB virtual serial port.

The Mattair Arduino Software works on the Minimus board. It is Arduino version 022, not the 1.0 version. I did not try many libraries though. I wanted to run Bitlash on top, but that is one app. that needed more memory.

I am running a version of grbl on a 32K Minimus to control a 3 axis MF70 CNC mill, with the gcode sent over USB serial. Steppers are driven with 3 axis TB6560 parallel board from minimus pins.

I would be interested in one or more, depending on the 'deal'. -Mike

Hi Guys,

Can you make a wikipage or something for your order, and chuck me the link?  We're trying to keep track of everything on the hacman wiki at http://wiki.hacman.org.uk/Orders/Minimus

Thanks,
Bob

I have finished editing, and added the order requests mentioned here so far. I have sent the link to  parag0n  as requested.

Thx. Mike

How about another Minimus workshop ?

The last one was probably too much "Skool" and not enough doing.
Was thinking we should have more of a build session. Would like to create small 3D printed case since I have lots of Minimus gadgets (AVR programmer, USB Serial, Dynamixel interface, ...)
Also to develop a low cost Minimus  Arduino based on Mattair and Leonardo. Maybe also a Bitlash build.

x5 for me too, and I'll put 5 quid in the hackspace money hole thing
because at 4 quid each it's still a great deal :-)

Ok, I've added Ben and Andrew to our list and will alert Bob. I understand the list closed last thing tonight, so you should be fine. Bob (parag0n) has asked me if we can get the money to them asap as one guy is funding it at the moment, I'll ask how we should transfer fund to them and let y'all know.

I am awaiting a reply to the 'how do we pay' question. I understand that  Kimball needs the money asap to cover the credit.

Hello all, regarding payment, it is planned that either Andrew or Richard will collect the funds from us and make one payment to Kimball. I am sure whichever one it is, they will post details of how to get payment to them as appropriate.

It is expected that they will be available before the end of the month and Richard plans to run a workshop either then or in early October (which suits me better) In the meantime we are looking to update the Wiki pages to make a better reference for using your Minimus.

I'll take them to the space on Wednesday evening for distribution.

I've put two A5 envelopes in the top drawer of the filing cabinet for the last two purchasers.

If you could swap the boards for cold hard cash I'd be most grateful.

Someone left a Minimus on the soldering station on Saturday, it was unattended and unloved, this is *not*  good. The tidying party took pity on it this time, but make sure any projects * in progress*  are labelled ( as Tom does). Although the tidy team have to clear away such unmarked  projects, they feel very bad about such destruction.

Could you collect and pay for your Minimus boards soon please.

Thanks

Hey Richard, really sorry I didn't make it down tonight. My son wants to come along to the Arduino workshop on Saturday though so if there's space left then we'll be there.

No problem, I should be at the space on Saturday, but if not they are in the top drawer of the filing cabinet.

There is still space left on Sat. for the Arduino workshop.

Cheers,

Richard
