Remote control receiver and relay for fume hood pulsing

Hi guys, I noticed that the extractor for the fume hood was pulsing so I checked up top and could hear the relay at the socket (see attached) clunking on and off. I unplugged it and moved the extractor to a normal socket and that seemed to fix the problem! Obviously this means switching it on and off manually so I think a new remote control/receiver should be ordered.

I've replaced the remote switch and the fume hood is working again,.
