Someone has put a "danger, do not use" sign on the compressor. Does anyone know what this is about. Specifically, I'd like to know if I can fix it.

That was me, noticed yesterday that there's a bit cracked off the
terminal block housing on the motor. Means it's possible to touch live
electrics if it's plugged in.

Needs a new lid on the terminal box but I didn't have time to make one
yesterday. Could probably be 3D printed or laser-cut?

And here I was hoping it was just belt tension or something. Not sure if I'll have time before Christmas but I might try printed a replacement.

Ok, I've got a replacement printing. It remains to be seen if it fits.

Whether it fits or not there are multiple cracks on the other half of the electrical box on the compressor. There aren't any holes in it like the top half so as long as it doesn't take any hard impacts it won't be an electrocution risk, but it should be replaced at some point in the future.

We could print it out as well or maybe find a replacement enclosure.

Compressor is now safe from incautious fingers. Though I wouldn't expect the replacement cover to be any more durable than the original.

As someone planning to use the Boxford (and thus the compressor) this week, then you for getting it back in action!
