Something girl

Dear class,
I have just gone through first pages of "Something girl" by Beth
Gooble. She wrote about the girl who coped with the abusive treatment
from her father. The conflict broke out when she got home late from
her school dance. The noise from her boyfriend car engine woke her
father up. He stood in the front door , grab her hand and took her to
a basement. He began banging her head against the wall even though
she cried. She could say anything except" Sorry". She curled up and
held her head with both hand as he left her down there. I wonder :"
Will she live with abusive relationship the rest of her life or she
will stand up and struggle with this?" .
