Buzz2Twitter - Posting from the official Google Buzz Mobile App?

I know that only the buzz you write in Google Buzz (not from 3rd party
site) will be synced. However, can we expand Buzz2Twitter to also sync
buzz from the "Google Buzz widget?" It's the official Google Buzz
widget from Google in the Android market. Most of my Buzz, I do from
my Android phone, including adding pictures to my Buzz, so this would
be extremely helpful!

It works with the widget. I tried it when the widget was released and
it worked. The widget seems to post directly to the web site instead
of use the API, which seems to be what the tool requires.

Ah, OK. Interesting.

When I post from my Google Buzz widget on my Android phone, nothing shows up on Twitter. But, if someone likes the Buzz post or comments on it, it does show up on Twitter. The problem though is when it does show up on Twitter, instead of having the text of the Buzz post followed by a link back to the original post on Buzz, it has the text of the Buzz post, followed by "Error: Please specify a URL to shorten."

In the particular instance I tried, the Buzz post had an image attached to it. Not sure if that makes a difference though.

(If it was just a text only Buzz from my phone, I could probably just use the actual Buzz mobile website and not the Buzz gadget. But, if I need to upload an image for my Buzz, you have to do that from the widget. At least I think you do, as I can't find a way to do that from the Buzz mobile website.)

Just tried sending a Buzz with a picture from Google Maps for mobile. You can attach zero or one photo via Google Maps for mobile. (The Buzz Android gadget supports multiple photo uploads on a single Buzz post.) The Buzz from Google Maps for mobile didn't sync to Twitter at all, even after liking the post and commenting on it. It must be something special for Buzzing from Google Maps for mobile vs. Buzzing on the Buzz gadget...

So as I understand it:

• Posting from Buzz on a computer - syncs OK in all situations
• Posting from Buzz on Google Maps for mobile - never syncs, no matter what
• Posting from Buzz with the Android Gadget
• Doesn't sync on initial post
• Does sync once there is a "like" or a comment on the post, but the link to the post is broken with the message "Error: Please specify a URL to shorten."

I wonder what the best solution for this is then. Ideally, all three situations would sync OK. As a workaround, maybe fix the URL error, and then, after posting your Buzz via the Android Gadget, load up Buzz on your phone and like and unlike your post to force the sync? Not sure if that's possible though - depends on how Buzz2Twitter shortens the Buzz post URL.

I have the same problem here - when I'm posting through my Gmail account it sends up to Twitter instantly, but when I'm using Google Maps (Symbian s60) and its built in Buzz client it doesn't seems to send posts to Twitter. Is there a solution for this issue? It's like Buzz2Twitter does not approve Maps client as the authorized client - maybe You should add Google Maps as one?
