Embedding Gists

If I want to refer to code examples in my docs by using Github Gists, is this supported? If so, how do I reference gists in my .rst file?

https://pypi.python.org/pypi/sphinxcontrib.gist looks like it will do it. Otherwise you could just use the raw HTML directive.
