Please check http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/845438/Scam-dog-millionares.html for a story on corruption in Sarva Sikhsa Abhiyan in British Media as the new government explores ways to cut back funding including foreign aid through DFID - a substantial part of which is committed to India's massive program on Universal primary education. If true, these allegations by Indian audit agencies really paints a poor picture of the India's governance and public service delivery system.
