Dear Reaction-Diffusion peoples,
I've very recently starting using Ready (very impressive!). My background is organic synthesis so there's lots of things which are new to me. However, I've started making RD patterns in small droplet morphologies and clearly would be interested in simulating RD patterns using Ready in circular rather than rectangular geometries. I may simply not be able to find the appropriate .vti, or it's very tricky, but is there capacity to simulate in a circle or sphere in Ready?
My gut says it's in the package if I can simulate Turing patterns on the surface of a lion!!
All the best, Dave

Hi Dave,

You can make a sphere by using File > New Pattern... > Geodesic sphere.

In general you can run on any mesh - use File > Import Mesh...

Hello,

I have a similar question. I would like to generate a circular RD pattern but on a flat surface. I'm not trying to generate the pattern on a 3D mesh but just on a flat circular surface or within the boundaries of a circle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
