I have been trying to process my own 3D mesh, from Blender for example, just the monkey head, export out as 3D obj and brought into Ready.

So far, I have been failing to get any interesting result. Unlike the rabbit mesh, which gets a very nice RD pattern, I am not getting anything on Suzanne the monkey. Even with the initial pattern, whenever I am running the simulation, all I get is blue. Or just a single color, very quickly. No reaction whatsoever.

I tried subdividing the monkey mesh, using different topology, triangulation, scaling, and none actually working like the rabbit. Wonder why.

Also, while in this matter, how do I actually apply "Preset Pattern" into my 3D mesh? Or am I doing it wrong?

Can I perhaps, use my own 3D mesh, as volume and hoping Ready to kind of make Voronoi or other intricate 3D holes?

Thanks!

I figured out the problem. Blender exported OBJ, when UV included has a strange // and / notation with the face. Ready does not understand this and causing error during simulation --> maybe a bug?

Anyhow, with "include UV" turned off from Blender, it works nicely!
