Deleted or missing files (including photos) on your laptop or desktop data hard drive can be retrieved with our proprietary recovery hard drive tools. Before you start to panic, keep in mind that physical hard drive recovery of even the most obscure data is routine for our professional team of recovery hard drive experts. Better technology and simple solutions at a reasonable price. We offer our decades of experience recovering lost data from internal and external hard drives.
Each data loss situation is unique. The improper use of data recovery software could put your data at risk. DriveSavers has developed proprietary tools and data recovery techniques that allow us to deliver custom recovery solutions for every data loss scenario, including:
Our engineers understand encryption and how to recover files from hard drives. They have been trained and certified to safely recover file-level and disk-level encrypted data. We can recover from encrypted hardware, software, email, network files, web pages, storage, and backup devices without compromising the original level of encryption.
The SOC 2 Type II audit assures our customers that every aspect of our facility and network is secure enough to protect personal and confidential data from a security breach during the data recovery process.
In addition to providing the highest level of preventive data security in the data recovery industry today, DriveSavers offers a High-Security Service that adheres to U.S. Government protocols and supports law enforcement agencies and other legal entities in the United States and abroad, providing full legal compliance, security, and confidentiality.
Clients like Bank of America, NASA Goddard Space Center, the Department of Defense, the Smithsonian Institution, and Lawrence Livermore Labs have all trusted DriveSavers with their critical data when they needed hard drive recovery services.
Do you offer a remote data recovery service?
In certain situations, DriveSavers provides unparalleled remote data recovery service for data loss situations that do not involve mechanical or physical damage. It is an ideal recovery option for RAID, NAS, and SAN systems, hardware too large to ship (i.e. large servers), and for highly sensitive data that needs to stay on-premises.
Will it change/ruin my warranty? (i.e. Apple, Samsung, etc.)
All data recoveries are performed in accordance with standards set by leading hard drive and data storage manufacturers. All leading manufacturers authorize DriveSavers to open sealed drive mechanisms; our data recovery process will not void their original warranty.
DriveSavers provides the highest level of data security in the data recovery industry today and is the only data recovery company in the industry today to post proof of annual, company-wide security audits.
DriveSavers is compliant with data privacy, security standards, and guidelines. DriveSavers undergoes an annual SOC 2 Type II audit of its internal data hosting and processing controls to guarantee that our data recovery services uphold the stringent data security and privacy protocols mandated by the corporate clients and government agencies we serve.
What does it cost?
The final cost is determined by the success and completeness of the recovery and the selected turnaround time. A successful recovery will generally fall in the top third of the original quote range. We will never exceed the price that we initially quoted.
How do you determine the cost of the recovery?
The final cost of the recovery is determined by the complexity and completeness of the recovery, based on the complexity of the mechanical and/or logical issues, the quality of the recovered data, the quality of file names, and data structure. The final cost will never exceed the initial quote that you received when you first call DriveSavers. We call that our maximum price gap guarantee.
How do I pay you, when do you need my payment information?
Payment is collected when the recovery is complete, before shipping or pickup. You do not need to provide payment to start the data recovery process. DriveSavers accepts all major credit cards. Purchase orders and NET terms can be provided for Fortune 500 companies and government institutions.
What is the success rate for your recovery?
We have the highest chance of success in the industry. Our in-house R&D team combined with relationships with the industry-leading storage device manufacturers, allows us the highest opportunity for success, with over 90% recovery rate across all device types.
Can you recover the data?
Our engineers are stubborn, and will not stop attempting recovery until the data is recovered or it is determined by a number of engineers and a supervisor that the data is unrecoverable.
Why can't you guys just recover everything?
Some devices have logical issues (corruption, software errors, deletion) or physical issues (head crash) where data is destroyed beyond recovery.
What if you only recover a portion of the files and not all of them?
We will calculate the final cost of the data recovery based on the complexity and completeness of the recovery. It is our goal to get everything as it was before the data loss. If the files or documents you requested are not fully recovered, we will adjust the cost accordingly.
What happens if you cannot recover my data?
In the unlikely event that your data is not recoverable, there is NO charge for our data recovery attempt, and we even ship your device back to you, for free!
Can I get my recovered data returned to me on the cloud?
We offer a Data Express service. Depending on the amount of data you need ASAP, we may be able to transfer data via our Data Express SFTP portal over the Internet. We would still ship the completed recovery to you.
Where is DriveSavers located?

It's a good idea to create a recovery drive. That way, if your PC ever experiences a major issue such as hardware failure, you'll be able to use the recovery drive to reinstall Windows 11. Windows updates to improve security and PC performance periodically, so we recommend you recreate the recovery drive annually. Personal files and any apps that did not come with your PC will not be backed up. You'll need a USB drive that's at least 16 gigabytes.
If you ever need to use the recovery drive to reinstall Windows 11 on your PC, see Recovery options in Windows for further instructions. It's a good idea to Back up your Windows PC frequently because the recovery drive isn't a system image. It doesn't contain your personal files, settings, or programs.

If you want to remove the recovery partition from your PC and free up disk space, select Delete the recovery partition. Then select Delete. This will free up the disk space used to store your recovery image. When the removal is done, select Finish.
Remove the USB flash drive. This is now your Windows 8.1 recovery drive, and you'll need it if you ever need to refresh or reset your PC. Keep it in a safe place and don't use it to store other files or data.
Download and install Disk Drill for Windows. Do not use the disk that experienced that data loss for the download to avoid overwriting files you wish to restore. Use a USB drive for the download and install if your main hard drive has lost data. You will need to provide Administrators credentials during the install process.
Connect an external storage media and launch the program. The application presents you with a list of disks that the software has discovered and are available for use. Select the one that you will use for recovery.
Recovered files are filtered and displayed in folders to make it easier to find exactly what you need. Select from these categories when searching for data: Pictures, Video, Audio, Documents, Archives, and other files. This feature saves a lot of time, allowing you to focus on the recovery results that matter to you without needing to go through the whole recovery report.
