Every single kill I get for this horrid quest is slightly over 25m today alone I have gotten 9 kills between 26-30 meters can we please make this god forsaken quest 30m instead of 25? I'd rather pvp than camp to get this kill when someone may not even come. I have been trying this quest on factory for ages and I kill people from so close but it's still over 25m! I'm losing the drive to play this game over these awful quests
I try to play like I usually do, but I bring a shitty sniper with me. Every once in a while you do good dmg to a player and he gets in cover. Then I swap to the sniper and try to pick em off in close combat. And if I find good loot, it was just a crappy gun. Easy to throw away.
lol if your finding this quest hard wait until you get tarkov shooter part 8 lol best thing to do for this quest is buy a mosin with short barrel for higher ergo and use either ps or snb rounds or even bt.The spawns are pretty easy to learn for this map.The are not going to change the requirements for this just because your finding it difficult the game is not meant to be easy!
The .336 AP ammo has 42 pen and 90 damage. It hits like a truck. It will sail through helmets and low tier armor. The rifle is light for a bolt gun and doesn't cost much either. In a pinch you can use the EKO for a super budget. It has 30 pen and 70 damage.
Some of the quests in this game are literally unfair and bullshit, this is not one of them. You can die and keep your progress, you have as long as you like to complete it, you are not at the whims of RNG waiting for an item to spawn, the weapons required are very cheap and your deaths will not cost you much at all and the quest is decidedly dictated by your skill in achieving the quest. You can easily complete it if you're experienced and have good aim, it might be a bit tough to complete if you aren't or if you get lobbies with much better players.
As others have said buy a VPO bolt action for 20k roubles. Buy AP-M ammo from the flea market. Play factory until you kill 3 people at close range (most likely trying to get their pistol kills, its really not that hard), and if they're out of range and you kill them well guess what, that's your own damn fault and nobody here cares in the slightest.
I have literally spent over a million roubles on Mosins today.. I've gotten one kill below 25m distance. I really cant seem to do it.. I almost broke my keyboard earlier, fighting another guy with a mosin - hitting him 4 times, and in that extremely tense moment, i end up getting shot in the back by a "Chad", that was camping up on the railings in Factory. I feel like i've tried everything.. I want to get all my traders to LL4 but some of these quests seem absolutely maddening. I know: "But you can just stop doing them and spend 3x as many Roubles on the Fleamarket." Im not that type of person, i love doing quests, but these quests are infuriatingly poorly made. Like, you know that a mosin is a sniper right? Why would you make me run up on somebody and shoot at him like im wielding an P90? Im gonna continue to try some other day, but today has been infuriating and honestly, i believe my hair has started falling out at this point. I absolutely looooooove Escape from Tarkov, but the quests are extremely, "meh"... And i could honestly do without em'. (This coming from a guy that loves to do quests.) It's not that they're all bad, there's a few of them that are really fun, but only a few of them. ?
Jaeger is a bad design anyway. Quests like: kill 45 pmcs whit a can of Tushonka while doing a 360 noscope, but you have to wear only an ushanka. And the best part is, he gets pissed every time you do a quest for peacekeeper. So you loose your hard earned rep, because of.... I dont know. Maybe the lore explains it, but for me it seems just random. Thanks to eod, im able to build the watercollecter level 3, whitout doing this shitty missions.
I like this game, but i dont spend my spare free time on this stupid quests over and over again. Maybe im a bad player, but i can live with that. I dont feel the urge to reach kappa. I want a full upgraded hideout and all traders level 4. Maybe this wipe, jaeger will remain level 3. Thats a bit a shame, but who cares?
Thats okay. This quests are not good designed. I dont want the game easy or casual or whatever. I think we all can agree that tarkov is a very unique game who has a lot of potential in so many things. I like it, when we you have your backpack filled with good stuff and you just want to get out and you encounter an player and your heart is pumping. These are great moments. I play videogames since 35 Jears and theres a reason why tarkov is one of my favourits. But neither crying about everything or otherwise agree to everything bsg does brings us to the finishline.
And tarkov can be frustrating sometimes. Even streamers dont like this kind of quests and are glad, if they are over. Theres a lot of work and balancing to do. And i hope, we can help bsg, making the game, we all want.
And if i get stomped for my opinion from time to time, then its okay. I try not to cutie about stuff. I try to point out where i see the problems. And i know, threads about tarkov shooter part 3 already existis. This quest is a pain since jaeger was introduced. So maybe there is a reason why people every wipe get frustrated about this?
Blame Pestily for the price you have to pay. As he was the streamer that got a price increase in the mosin 2 wipes ago @the same time as the torso hp buff, I.E an all round gun nerf that suited his game play.
2/3 of the quests in tarkov are basically a trader going ohh i see your a competent soldier. Well i will pay you if your willing to be incompetent and purposely wear or use gear in the wrong way. This game only makes since if your pmc is such a ass hole that every trader in the game is low key trying to kill you.
use the tri rail and a cobra scope and add a lazer to hip fire if needs be, Also what ammo are you using and what map? You should use ps or snb ps can 1 tap level 4 armor and snb destroys armor pretty fast.
These quests are not nearly as hard as people make them out to be i have already explained above how this quest can be completely easily and i also don't buy the excuse of only 8 to 10 hours to play i barely play one hour a day and have very little issue completing them!
Right from the start of the wipe, Ill try to collect those short mosins since they seem to ADS faster and are easier to handle in factory then any long bolt action. When it comes to it, I try to use 7n1 only since thats the only round that can onehit enemys. Other then that, youll just have to keep throwing yourself into the meatgrinder on Factory.
