Thanks for setting up this google group Alex.

Okay, I have some feedback. Upon further reflection, I think the overall website looks good. Thanks again goes to Alex.  Your service really is wonderful. About the wording/ language we're using.  I love the language regarding the capacity building
A COLLABORATIVE CAPACITY-BUILDING EVENT FOR DEALING WITH RACISM IN THE GREATER DAYTON AREA

I also really like Jim's language in the invitation.

However, something about "Walking with Martin" on the website rubs me the wrong way.  What about you guys?  Overall, most of the concept that I was struggling with and language is growing on me though.

I have been thinking a lot about this, but drew a blank tonight again in trying to put it into words.  Maybe Tokz will be best at identifying the objectives.

Of the people I was to contact to invite for Saturday:
emailed Cathy Shanklin Sun eve- Have not heard back
Left message with Pam and Neal Davis
Emailed Gloria Leigh- She is interested and wants to stay posted but can't come, she'd teaching
Robert E. Jones already has meetings
Percy Vera's number is not correct anymore; I am going to try another # tomorrow

I also invited Ona Harshaw from Antioch U; I need to call her back, but she's intersted

So, so far, I got nothing.  How are the other invites going?

Also, today at the MLK downtown meeting, Jim and I heard that MV Fair Housing has a cool MLK event planned that day...anyway we can look into partnering or considering their evnt?

Hasta,
Amy
