Hi, We are going to be at Playa Car the end of May and there will be
15 of us and we want to rent a yacht. Has anyone used the yachtse.com
company? If so did you book ahead of time and what kind of deposit
did you have to give? Has anyone fished off the boat also? And what
did you think of the whole experience? Any info would be great.

Hi Betty.  We rented a 32 foot yacht...there were only 6 of us.  We didn't pay our deposit and confirm our reservation until a few days before.  I think we were lucky, I would recommend booking sooner!  The deposit was 50%.  We paid $350 for 4 hours.  We stopped to snorkel and swim but we didn't fish.  Lunch, snacks and drinks were included.  We had them arrange transportation for us which was $140 return from Playacar.  We thought it was good value and had a great time!  The office did have fishing rods, but I think that is a different tour.

How did you reserve your yachts? I have tried the phone numbers and
they are disconnected. I tried emailing and it wont go thru. I dont
want to fill out the reservation form until I get some questions
answered.

Hi Betty,
We rented the 42' yacht and it was a blast. The only thing that we
werent too keen on was the fact that the captain wanted to stop at
Isla Mujeres for almost 2 hrs. The island was beautiful but we ended
up asking him to leave an hr early because we paid good money for the
rental to just sit.
