We have a reservation for Dec 13-20 1BR Hacienda. Had no problem getting
it. Are you looking far enough ahead?

Last Aug or Sept, I tried to book a 2 bedroom unit in June NINE months in advance at either Playacar or Caracol and I was told that there was no availability. My contract says I have a guaranteed OCEAN front TWO bedroom unit if I book 4 months in advance. They appear to continue to be selling memberships like crazy...I'm concerned that this is turning into a Ponzi scheme...

Ocean front units have been somewhat problematic especially during busy times (Sandos still selling memberships without really expending inventory). At some point we'll get into situation when its going to be very hard to get unit of your liking for the time you want. I'm for one just trying to enjoy the ride while I can. :) Going to Playacar in July, right in time for the Euro 2016 finals. :)Reply all
