We are looking to push the 3D Model Panel into the main source
repository for the next release and the hurdle is compatibility with
Java3D across platforms. It is not like Java and completely platform
independent. So far I know that the JNLP works well with Windows and
Linux as far as installing Java3D when necessary. But I do not have
the ability to test this on Mac OSX. If anyone has a Mac with OSX and
currently can run RDV, would you mind helping me figure out how to get
this compatible with that platform? As a first task, I have RDV 1.9
compiled with the 3D Model Panel at the Lehigh website and it works on
Windows and Linux. Please load the JNLP file and let me know if it
works or not and if there are any other issues.

Thanks,
Tommy
