I just took a Ripper camp and, while sneaking around the back of the base, I noticed a lone ripper walking in circles and muttering to himself. He was walking along the fence line (the very end of the fence, where you usually find a hole that allows you to sneak through the fence) while doing these circles, and then finally he stopped walking in circles and muttering to himself and sat down on his knees ("Indian style" as it's referred to I think) and threw his arms in the air in a form of supplication (think 'praise the sun!') and began chanting. Sure enough, about ten seconds later, a couple of Freakers rushed through the whole of the gate and began eating him alive. The Ripper laughed and I even think he began singing as the Freakers ripped him limb from limb and dug into his guts.
Probably too high powered but Nightripper is basically Golarion's version of Jack the Ripper mixed with Freddy Kreuger only even worse, and having died and immediately ascended to nascent Demon Lord based on being just that evil.
characters are flat footed in the first full round of combat before they have acted. Pump the initiative, spend the surprise round getting into position to get a full round of sneak attacks on one character who has a lower initiative while the rest of the party has to move to make full attacks. Disappear on the second full round and put some serious hurt out while only allowing the party one monuveing round of combat (well except for any PC who managed to beat his initiative). Mechanically the best rogue race for the smash & flash is likely a goblin (bonuses to dexterity & sneak and the FCB) but I doubt a rogue is the best class. I like cnetarian's idea of hit and run......this is going to be harder to decided then i first thought good thing I asked you guys early.
