For Season 1, the cast members, together with a guest (known as the Sixth Man), visit three different places (or people). One of the three is entirely fabricated from scratch by the production team, and the cast members and the Sixth Man have to figure out which one is entirely fabricated, by using their "sixth senses" to analyze every detail of the three.[5]

It's not important how it looks or who builds it. When it's as real as a sixth sense those questions are as unimportant to the individual, as questions about our other senses are in our lives. They are senses. We aren't conscious about them. They just are.

At a splashy online showcase event hosted out of its Asia offices, Disney announced 18 local-language Originals to be produced over the coming year in territories including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, greater China and Australia. The titles span both series and film, and feature a diversity of genres, ranging from scripted drama to anime, comedy, fantasy, romance, science-fiction, crime, horror, variety shows and documentaries.

Figures 1-4 describe the results of this growth accounting exercise. Figure 1 compares the growth rates of output per person of the Four Tigers with those of the rest of the world during 1960-75 and 1975-90. The first four bars in this figure describe the growth rates of the individual Tigers. The fifth bar describes the simple average growth rate of 100 countries, representing the rest of the world (row). The sixth bar represents the mean of the growth rate of the rest of the world plus a 1.96 standard deviation (row + 1.96sd). Growth rates can be regarded as "high" if they are above the row but below row + 1.96sd, "very high" if they are around row + 1.96sd, and "outstanding" if they exceed this value. Figure 1 shows that in this comparison the growth rates of output per person of Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan Province of China were very high in the 1960-75 period and outstanding in 1975-90, while the growth rate of Singapore was outstanding during the first period and very high during the second.

Does America Have a Strategy for Asia?
It is sometimes assumed that every leadership team who occupies the White House has a unified vision and a secret plan for achieving it. In the post-Cold War world, however, little evidence exists that would suggest the United States has ever developed a whole-of-government strategy for Asia. This is not to suggest that elements of the government have not made any attempts at security strategy. In the 1990s, for example, the Department of Defense published several East Asia Strategy Reports that outlined the Pentagon's regional security strategy.iv During the first half of the Obama administration, the Department of State announced a strategy that became known as the "Rebalance to Asia" or "The Pivot."v More recently, defense officials announced a "Third Offset" strategy. Details are vague, but it appears aimed at keeping ahead of militarily-advanced competitors like China.vi In the early months of the Trump Administration, a variety of statements and ideas from Secretary of Defense Mattis, PACOM Commander Harris, Secretary of State Tillerson, and Senator McCain suggest that the seedlings of strategy are there, but have not yet taken root.

The examples above do not fit the definition of strategy used for the purposes of this paper. In one sense, they are all too abstract and broad. None of them identify an adversary, let alone discuss their ends, ways, and means for dealing with it in an interactive competition. Instead, they often offer long lists of amorphous goals, including "trust building" and engagement and cooperation with China. Further undermining prospects for actual strategy, "The Pivot" and other attempts at strategy were neither whole-of-government efforts, nor were they fully funded and implemented.vii

The draw of Indonesia is its diversity of people and sheer scale of geographic and ethnic variety. It is such a huge country, made up of thousands of islands, volcanoes, multiple religions, tribes, and cultures, draw-dropping beauty from end to end, and thousands of years of fractured history. My fascination with it deepens further every time I visit and I have wanted to explore deeper and deeper into this intriguing place ever since I came to live in Southeast Asia. And this trip was the most immersed I have been within the Indonesian culture yet; I had an opportunity to travel as far away from reality as possible, and in a year where reality seemed to have faded almost completely, it felt appropriate in many senses to be as far away from other people as possible.
