Eternity's best team comps in Reverse 1999 are Reality DMG-centric buff/debuff teams. Most of her best companions have debuff abilities to support her if she needs to use Yearning Desire. These debuffs provide excellent buffer room to help Eternity recover from her Incantations while the buffs add to her Insight bonuses.
If you don't have An-an Lee, you can replace her with Reverse 1999's Bkornblume. She weakens enemies to Reality DMG and gets a DMG bonus when she attacks a weakened enemy. This Incantation triggers through lowered stats, Negative Statuses, or Control statuses, making it easy to apply in debuff-centric teams. If you have Eternity, use Purse of Vigor. Bkornblume can follow it up with Watch Your Sleeves.
If you don't have Medicine Pocket or want a healer compatible with Bkornblume, you can pair Eternity with Balloon Party. She heals based on a percentage of lost HP, which means you will have to wait to heal Eternity until she is closer to defeat. Try to trigger Balloon Party's Ultimate often, as she'll give her team positive balloon-based statuses.

I'm also running a Wood Elf Wizard using a Combusting Wounds based build. Which means mostly the Minoletta spells, DoT spells and of course the ever lovable Combusting Wounds. She's currently the team's powerhouse, tearing apart enemies with her spells and just being an overall badass. But that's to be expected from a Wizard =D

- Paladin: with high might and reloading weapon: awesome alpha-strike via FoD and that apprentice wounding-shot on all trash encounters. Super strong heal via LoH. Strong buffs and auras. Decent single-target damage if fight goes longer, due to sworn enemy. Their main con imho is that they are not that good in long battle against many enemies. Their aoe comes a little bit late.
After playing hundreds of hours of Pillars, I decided my last POTD run would focus on the greatest level of efficiency (less micro, less resting), boss handling (straight-up, no pulling destruction), and thematic flair (team looked heroic).
In combat I would fire the blunderbuss once (unless buffing with a scroll for a boss fight) and then switch to club and shield. For most battles your role is to unload CC through charm, paralyze, frighten, stun, or dominate. All of the status effects listed can be unleashed without the need to gain focus. You could easily forego the blunderbuss, just launch an initial CC attack and simply enjoy melee while listening to calming sounds of Twin Scythes. For tough fights (bosses), I would save focus and hit Mindweb as early as possible. Overall, the build offers slightly more depth to the team (compared to the barbarian) and certainly makes early levels easier to clear (just my experience). After taking the time to revisit the Cipher, it became clear that adding another Priest provides an measurable increase to the party's power. However, if you're like me and you don't like have two of the same class in a party, the Cipher is the best option.
The best 5-star Psychubes for Eternity are Yearning Desire and The Footloose. Among the two, Yearning Desire will be my main pick when using Eternity on teams featuring debuffers. Yearning Desire will increase her Incantation Might by 15% (at level 60) while also increasing her damage when attacking debuffed enemies by 8 to 16% (depending on its Amplification level).
When not making use of her on teams featuring debuffers, The Footloose would be my main pick given its ability to buff both her Ultimate Might by 15% (level 60) and her overall damage against enemies with more than 50% HP by 8% (Amplification level 1).
