Warning: novice alert!

On OS X 10.5.5 I installed rdfalchemy using easy_install and got
problems with rdflib:

=====
Best match: rdflib 2.4.0
Downloading http://rdflib.net/rdflib-2.4.0.tar.gz
Processing rdflib-2.4.0.tar.gz
Running rdflib-2.4.0/setup.py -q bdist_egg --dist-dir /tmp/
easy_install-CNCxXt/rdflib-2.4.0/egg-dist-tmp-s3dnnn
warning: no files found matching 'example.py'
zip_safe flag not set; analyzing archive contents...
No eggs found in /tmp/easy_install-CNCxXt/rdflib-2.4.0/egg-dist-tmp-
s3dnnn (setup script problem?)
error: Could not find required distribution rdflib==2.4.0
=====

so I downloaded and extracted rdflib-2.4.0.tar.gz and did 'setup.py
install' instead. Is that ok?

Also, just noticed that there are Sesame speed improvements if I use
the svn dist of rdfalchemy. Is there an easy_UNinstall? And how do I
install from the svn download? Or am I better sticking with what I've
got to work with Sesame?

Thanks,
Tony.
