RDF4J server with basic auth: HowTo let workbench authenticate

Dear RDF4J users!

I am a bloody beginner to tomcat configuration.

I manged to secure my RDF4J server to the standards of my application.

Now I noticed that the workbench no longer can access the server.

Where is the configuration of the workbench on authentication against the server?

Any help appreciated.
