Hi all,

I'm pretty new to packages, so bear with me if I'm missing something obvious.

I created a package of personal functions (we'll call it "caitlin"), which seemed to be working great until the R update. Since then, I can't load my package. I've tried:

library(devtools)
install.packages("caitlin")

which returns a warning which says "package 'caitlin' is not available (for R version 3.3.0).

Are there steps to take when R updates to update your package along with it? I've tried running document() in the "caitlin" folder (which loads all of my functions so that I can use them without properly loading the package), but would appreciate advice on this step of package development/use.

Thanks,
Caitlin

If it's just a local package, you'd need to do install() when you're
in the package project (or if you're using RStudio, press cmd + shift
+ b)
