Cannot connect to self-signed certificate servers

Something has recently changed and now when I connect to a server with a self signed certificate I receive this message:

ATTENTION! The server uses and invalid security certificate which can not be trusted for the following identified reasons(s);

1. Certificate issuer is not trusted by this system.

Issuer: CN=computername.domainname

Do you trust this certificate (yes/no)?

While this is a good default, I would like the ability to pass the same option that wget has for ignoring bad certificates: --no-check-certificate

Ideally, this would simply trust all certificates instead of hanging on a yes/no question
