Hi All,

Does anyone know how one might maximise windows that are generated in Cytoscape?

If I set the preferences to maximizeViewOnCreate to "true", a single window created will be maximized, but as soon as I add multiple windows, they tile, and are no longer maximized. Is there any way to automatically size a window to fill the space, or figure out the amount of space so that I can resize appropriately?

Cytoscape 2.8.3
R 2.15.2
RCy 1.8.2
CyRPC 1.8

Thanks,

-Robert

Hi Robert,

As I remember it (I may have the details wrong) Jan and I did not find a way to do this.

The rather lame solution I use is

hideAllPanels(cw)
setWindowSize(cw, xPixels, yPixels)

where those two integers are learned experimentally on the screen I am using.

Far from ideal, but serviceable in a pinch.
