Protest planning mtg. Wed eve against anti-gay/christian fascist conference Saturday

Please plan on attending the meeting to plan for this
saturday's protest against the anti-gay "Love Won Out"
conference.
Meeting is this Wednesday (June 22) 7pm-8pm at Cafe
Roma in the U-District (University Way and 42nd ave).

This weekend is the Gay Pride festival
(www.seattlepride.org). Conversely Christian Fascist
James Dobson's organization Focus On The Family
(www.family.org)is taking this opportunity to spread
the gospel of homosexual-hating psycho-babbel.

On its' web site, Focus on the Family misleads people
into believing that homosexuality is a psychological
disorder, that if left untreated 75% of children run
the RISK of turning gay, that there is a homosexual
agenda to legalize pedophilia, and recomend
psychological treatment to turn people away from
homosexuality. A listing of "FACTS" about
homosexuality on their web-site reads:
"Psychologist Robert Stoller said, 'Masculinity is an
achievement.' In other words, 'growing up straight
isn’t something that happens. It requires good
parenting. It requires societal support. And it takes
time.'
