BATTLE FOR THE FUTURE
We are now in a life and death struggle over the future of the planet and I
refuse to sit by and do nothing. I refuse to, [having learnt] from history that
reform does not change anything, and then repeat the mistake of working within
the system anyways.
What we need is a revolution to sweep away history's chains on the Earth and all
of the Earth's inhabitants. We need a revolution to uproot the putrid, outmoded,
system of capitalism. One that will put power firmly in the hands of the people
and will institute a new way of life that really is in the interests of the
masses of people and the future of the planet.
Many people think that this is impossible, that the future is already written and
we are doomed. We are told everywhere in this society that this is the greatest
of all human societies, and many people are duped into believing it, their
ability to dream of a better world stamped out.
DRIVE THE BUSH REGIME FROM POWER
Right at this very moment the two sides of this contradiction, over which
direction human society will go, has sharpened to world historic proportions. We
are in a situation where large sections of the ruling class, in particular those
that are won over to the Christian Fascist line, are making bold moves to
completely consolidate power and destroy any and all oposition in their drive for
global hegemony. As the article "The World Can't Wait - Thoughts on Driving Out
the Bush Regime" (http://revcom.us/a/007/world-cant-wait.htm) in the latest issue
of "Revolution" by Sunsara Taylor (http://sunsara.blogspot.com) says,
"Some have spoken of a pre-civil-war atmosphere in the U.S. And millions of
people are really distressed about how the Democrats are unwilling and incapable
of mounting any serious opposition to the Bush regime on anything that matters.
"My thinking on this whole situation has been informed by the analysis of Bob
Avakian, Chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, and based on a scientific
analysis of the world situation, he has made a powerful case for the need and the
possibility for the masses of people to wrench a dramatically different future
out of this dire situation.
"Bob Avakian has analyzed the major changes in the world and transformations in
U.S. society that have created a situation where the Republican strategy for
*how* the U.S. empire should dominate the world has a certain edge within ruling
class circles. These underlying economic, political and ideological factors in
the world -- combined with an aggressive, arrogant and relentless drive to impose
their agenda -- have led to the situation we face today where the Bush regime has
cynically used the events of 9/11 to hammer into place a global reality suited to
the interests of their bloodsucking system. And they are on a roll.

foot-soldiers provide chilling glimpses of their nightmarish 'new normalcy'. Or,
people urgently and decisively establish *OUR* own dynamic based on the
understanding that the *world can't wait* and the people must drive out the Bush
regime. a different dynamic based on principles, on seeking the truth, and
rallying millions to take *independent historical action*."
The Revolutionary Communist Party, in particular through it's chairman Bob
Avakian (http://www.bobavakian.net), puts out the position that the future has
not been written and by applying the science of Communism as advanced by Marx,
Lenin, and Mao, humanity does have the power to change the world and create a
beautiful future. The possibility to mobilize the millions of people, who have a
deep gut hatred for the whole direction that these mother fuckers are taking
society, to break out of the normal confines of Bourgeois politics to take
"independent historical action" exists. But, as laid out in his recent article
in Revolution tiled "There Is No "They" - But There is a Definite Direction to
Things: THE DYNAMICS WITHIN THE RULING CLASS, AND THE CHALLENGES FOR
REVOLUTIONARIES"

require a lot of work and struggle to wrench a completely different future out of
their hands.
BE A PART OF THIS BOLD NEW PROPOSAL TO DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME, to quote from

People all around the country are not just discussing this, but taking action &
building organisation to -- again, LITERALLY, not just in flowery talk --
mobilise millions of people to drive the Bush regime from power. For an example,

committee of people in Ohio, revolutionary communists & others, whose page reads
in part:
"There will be a broad range of exciting and historic activities over the next
five months, culminating in an outpouring of millions on November 2, 2005, to

"That's right, we're from Ohio, and not everyone here is a brainwashed idiot.
"In fact, most people here are pretty normal. We live in big cities and small
towns, or in rural areas. We work (when we're not being layed off), go to
school, read books, make love, believe in evolution, practice birth control.

veterans, day laborers, office workers, teachers, youth and elderly. We are
Christians, Muslims, Jews, agnostics, and atheists, and we all believe in the
