Another matter of business: A few week's ago I signed a contract to work
fulltime for the California Environmental Protection Agency. They are
working on an ambitious project to develop environmental education
curriculum for every classroom in the entire state from kindergarten to 12th
grade. I will be reviewing units and working with a team of writers. It is
all very sudden and more than a bit overwhelming, but mostly it is
exciting!!!! So much for retirement . . .
So, I will unfortunately need to bow out of next summer's volunteer
coordinator's position. However, I wish to stay involved with FRCST and HH,
mainly in the educational realm. I am especially interested in providing
material for the new website.
I will see you at the meeting tomorrow evening.
Thanks one and all
Dennis
