The FRCT/HH is a group of people interested in making our trails the
best they can be. We work to eradicate garlic mustard and other
invasive plants. We have build benches and rest areas along the
trail. The group helps purchase equipment, and volunteer at the
visitors center. Many of our volunteers groom the trails for cross
country skiing.
We also provide education opportunities throughout the year.
The Friends of the Red Cedar Trail/Hoffman Hills sponsors the
Candlelight Ski/Walk/Snowshoeing the last Friday of January, setting
out hundreds of luminaries and lighting the ice wall.
The first Saturday in June, we sponsor National Trails Day with hikes,
bikes, education and fun at The Depot Trailhead.
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Friends of Red Cedar
Trail/Hoffman Hills is encouraged to attend the annual meeting.
