I finally got something working,
There it is my own Rc Combat Tank not finished but soon ready

Main feature:
rc
-Full 1/6 scale
-Aluminum Hull CNC cutted
-Solidworks engenering
-Tig and Mig welded
-Casted plastic parts for the running gear with 3d printed models
-Modular assembly
-MPSS suspension from Field of Armor
-M01 Motors 350w
-C12C controller for now
-Spyder Victor paintball with a 16inch. barrel to be on scale in length

Don't know if I can considere in ''running on its own'' condition, but it can run in my house on one track with is own batery more fast then I tougth on 12v and it will run on 24V....

Thanks you very much all for this hobby. It's been now nine year that I'm looking foward to make a running tank and on the path I made the decision to be a welder in my working life due to this. I have learn how to machining and in the last year to master the 3d cad, 3d printing and plastic casting. It will be usefull for everything I will make and for the rest of my life.

I wish I will meet some of you in battle!!

It's always nice to hear when someone uses the challenges of this hobby
to improve their skills either personally or professionally. Well done.

Sure, I will try my best, if my tank working well,  a battle in the Mariland is not far that much!! I only got one issue about the law that i did not get the time to check... Do i will be considered a terrorist or a illegal gun seller if i get check on the border with a paintball and a CO2 tank in the back of my car????!!! I just need to check on that and every thing will be good !!!!

Jean, i was looking at your tank photos. On your photo of track sections, the newer beefer ones i was wondering the width and the distance between the teeth. Also how did they hold up in battle?

Hello Stewart,

The total width of the pads are 2.125 inch and the distance between the teeths is 5/8 (.625). When I concept them I had the idea to use them on mu;tiple platform like the SU-76, T-70 ligth tank, Pz38 (t), hetzer, AMX 13 and more...!

I first built my tank to beat it up in all situation possible as you maybe have seen in some of my videos... From towing kids to towing myself, to climbing stairs to jumping of sidewalks, I did push it hard. The two reasons that I mosly

broke pads was when I was hitting something hard in the front sprocket (like going full speed on a sidewalk...) and when I did plow snow with it (the tracks got icy and I did put the tank in front of a nice fire wood to dry it out but by

the time the ice had melt I came out again to show it to my people and all the water between the pads and the strap froze and boke at least a quarter of them....

After replacing all the broked pads I continued to beat it up until the battle...!! Arrived there I had already few pads cracked and at the and of the first days of battle I had on track with 3 inner pads broked in a row...

At the end of the second day, the track detrack in a full speed turn just where the pads where broked and got stock between the hull and the idlerdestroying 5 other pads, stalling the scooter motor and blowing of the 30amp fuse....

I did continue to battle on one track turning on myself until I came face to face with one of the Pitteli PzII and I did finaly rip off some of the pads of the other track...

on the other part  my T-70 did very well with no track damage out of the electronic fire that occur at the end of the second battle of the weekend and issues on the nuts locking the chains sprocket inside the ligther little beast...!!

I'm already working on a tird generation of track that will be a little thicker with 3 srews holding each pads on Even that I know that those one where pretty strong for what I put them througth....!!!

Thanks for the reply, three screws might help. I also wonder if too much force in one area from the drive sprocket might be an issue too. Maybe have a bit of drive sprocket on each side of the tread along with the centre.
