Guys, I don't usually send out a slope alert on RCSE, but I wondered if conditions continue to look promising, is anyone up for Brookville Dam, Indiana on Saturday?  I'm on the lookout for getting a 4 hour LSV IV flight in.  BTW I've never flown there so any advice on whether 10 mph from the south constitutes a good day there would be much appreciated! Thanks, -Skye

Skye,
10 mph is the min.
I have done it on 8, but it was work.
South to South by southwest is best and 15 to 20.
Sometimes the bowl to the east works .
Its a nice place to do a Level % 8 hour as a few will attest.
Wish I could be there for you.
Best of Luck.

Note: do not go down behind the dam, its trec????; a bad thing !!

Skye:
If it's SSW winds the Frankfort slope will work as well.
Cheers

hi AJ

Heard of it, but never been. Where is the Frankfort slope? South of
Cinci right? Any special rules about flying there?

By the way if it turns any more SW then we've got Newark closer by to
Columbus.

Hope it went well at the Dam. We got a 2hr and 4hr in here in Big D...
not a big hill, but when she blows, she goes...

Dan - Amen to the first rule of sloping!  Here in Ohio it was pretty gentle.  Flew a little and got chased away by a pit bull.  No harm, no foul.

Happy flying!
