Mr. Abhay Gadgil
Pune,
Dear Abhayji,
You might be aware that we are providing free health care to the primitive tribals of central India since 1973. Since there is no functioning government health care facility or a private one, our hospital is the only one which provides tertiary care as well.
We have various facilities like - X-ray, sonography, laboratory, NICU, operation theatre, dental unit and ward for more than 50 patients.
We treat various illnesses like - malaria, pneumonia, tuberculosis, anemia, malnutrition, various pregnancy related complications, fractures, snake bite, animal bite injuries, cholera, gastroenteritis, etc.
Every year  the number of hospital deliveries is increasing with the awareness. As the number of hospital deliveries is increasing, the number of complicated deliveries is also increasing. Initially the preterm deliveries used to take place at home and the baby would expire within few days as no expert care was provided. Now they bring the baby to hospital soon if the delivery takes place at home, so there is a need for more warmers.
We conduct surgical camps through out the year and around 700-800 patients are operated every year in this hospital. Though we have all the necessary equipments for surgery and anaesthesia, some times patient goes into cardiac arrest and needs to be revived quickly. A defibrillator is useful in cases of cardiac arrest during surgery or due to other reason.
We will be obliged to you if you could provide us with two baby warmers and a defibrillator with a monitor.
Looking forward to your response.
Yours sincerely
