In order to enhance the donor experience with RISAO, we are clarifying here the process of direct deposit of cheques/ drafts at RBL’s designated bank branches situated across India.
Direct Deposit of Grant Contributions’ Cheques/ Drafts
To avail this scheme for grants contributions (not for other contributions), please write to rfio...@rotary.org with the required information mentioned below:
- Please select and communicate the preferred bank branch from the list of bank branches. For list of bank branches click here
- Please fill out the excel “Direct Deposit Template” with complete information. For Template click here.
- Please ensure that scanned copies of cheques/ drafts are attached with the direct deposit template.

Direct Deposit of All Contributions’ Cheques/ Drafts (other than Grant Contributions)
The direct deposit scheme for these contributions is being piloted till 31 October 2020 post which we will re-evaluate the feasibility of this channel based on feedback from all stakeholders and guidelines compliance. As a part of this pilot, this scheme will be available for individual cheques/drafts with a value of more than INR 100,000 only.
To avail this scheme for all contributions (other than grant contributions), please follow the prescribed guidelines and write to RFI-dire...@rotary.org with the required information mentioned below:

- Please fill out the excel "Direct Deposit Template" with complete information. For Template click here;
- Please ensure that scanned copies of cheques/ drafts; corporate letter and related documents are attached with the direct deposit templates sent to us.

Once the above information is received and verified by concerned RISAO staff, a confirmation email will be received by sender of the template with contact details of the designated bank representative at the bank branch within 2 business days of receipt of the completed template at RISAO. The designated bank representative will only accept cheques/ drafts listed on the “Direct Deposit Template” sent directly to him/her by Rotary Authorized Representatives.
In case you have additional cheques/ drafts after submission of the template, please fill and submit an additional template.
Important! PAN no. is an integral part of the template, without which no direct deposit request would be accepted. Please DO NOT drop cheques in bank/ ATM drop boxes or deposit cheques at bank branches with conventional deposit slips. We will not be able to ensure the receipt or clearance of the cheques/drafts or provide credit in such cases.
