validate_doc_read views and sync

I'm sorry if it's covered somewhere, but I could not get the information, there is multiple case with 'validate_doc_read' that I would like to understand:

- With validate_doc_read does the document are filtered in case of replication ? 

- Same questions with view results ?

If so in case of replication what happens if an user is granted with new privilege should I invalidate all data that has been replicated ?
