Hi Moorthy,
We are circulating the following job announcement for the NY Senate CIO's Office. If you could forward this to qualified folks who might be interested, I would appreciate it.
The New York State Senate is seeking a Lead PHP Developer with several
years experience. MySQL experience is also required. Drupal expertise
is a big plus. Javascript/AJAX, CSS, and XML expertise is desirable,
as well as experience interfacing with REST and SOAP API's. Interest in
emerging best practices of Gov. 2.0 work is also a plus.
Projects to include NYSenate.gov website development, as well as
related work on Senate intranet and data management applications.
Also, I'd like to talk to you about internship opportunities here for students. Any ideas on how we could arrange that? Could students work on some NY Senate open source projects for credit? Or would we have to formally become a work study outlet for RPI?
Hope all is well!
Thanks. -kz
