IMPORTANT NOTICE

ResCoalition is working with the administration to deal with and address the local minimum wage issues.  These are those situations when the city or municipality decides that they will implement a higher minimum wage that either the state or federal requires.   As of this writing, there are 9 cities that have voted in higher minimum wages.   The worst right now is $12.25 that will start March 1 in Oakland.   As we negotiate a long term solution to this issue,  there is action you can take in the interim.   Under Title 17, you can ask for a funding increase due to health and safety issues.   These wage increase issues would qualify.   For current ResCoalition members, we have a template letter that you can use to start the process.
