Good Afternoon,

We wanted to be sure this was sent out to everyone for your input:

 Regional Center Directors, Administrators and Chief Counselors:

DDS has heard from some constituents that they are interested in altering some of the dates of the current Uniform Holiday Schedule.  In response to the expressed concerns, DDS is surveying regional centers, affected vendors and interested parties regarding the current Uniform Holiday Schedule and any proposed changes.  The link below leads to DDS’ home page which contains information about the Uniform Holiday Schedule and the survey.  The deadline for survey responses is May 15th.  We would appreciate your assistance in distributing this information to affected vendors and other interested parties.

Good Afternoon,

I was asked to clarify a few points pertaining to the DDS survey. 

Per a North Bay group, the intent of this survey is to consider moving the December 26th holiday to the 23rd.  The reason being is that as it stands now the Christmas week holidays would fall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with Monday & Friday off.  Most people have felt it would be better to have consecutive days off next to the weekend.

Additionally, please note this is for the June 2013 –  July 2014 schedule.
