Good Afternoon,

Our latest email has sparked a lot of concern about the contracts many providers currently hold with their employees and we have received an overwhelming amount of response inquiring about the contract templates mentioned in the update.

It seems there needs to be a little clarification with regards how to get these contracts.  There has been a significant response and numerous requests for us to forward copies of said contracts.  Please be advised that a number of person's who have not maintained their membership with ResCoalition have requested these contracts be forwarded to them.  We are only forwarding these contracts to active members who have paid their dues Since September 1, 2012.

ResCoalition is a non-profit business league designed to advocate on behalf of residential service providers for persons with developmental disabilities in California. While all of our advocates are volunteers there is still a great deal of overhead to maintain our advocacy efforts (ie, attorneys to create our templates, travel to Sacramento, consultants to assist with technology aspects, specialized trainers for community based training, etc).

ResCoalition believes that knowledge is power and we are happy to provide anyone who wants our updates via email without membership. In addition, we provide community based trainings that are free to members and low-cost to other providers. However, in order for us to continue our advocacy efforts and to ensure our information, templates, contracts, etc are up to date and comply with the most current laws and regulations in our field we can only provide them free of cost to our paying members.

If you are interested in supporting our efforts, you will find a membership application attached to this email. Once received, you will have access to all updates, trainings, templates and any other information we have to offer without a fee. We have also included a summary of our work over the past several years in case you are not aware of our organization and its focus.

Thank you for your support and ongoing attention to issues impacting residential care facilities in California.

I'm so sorry that I haven't sent a membership renewal fee, but I haven't received the bill for membership renewal since the last payment I made in November, 2011in the amount of $240.00. Maybe because of the new mailing address?

Hi Dr. Shayne,
This is Marilou From Blue Haven Guest home. I'm wondering if you're going to schedule, in the near future, another training on Labor Law. I attended the training two weeks ago but I think the class went too fast.
Please send me the Templates for the Employee Contract and all other forms or sample forms that I can use to meet the Labor Law requirements.
    My email address:   Shar...@yahoo.com.

Thanks!!!

Hello Marilou,

We are planning to hold other trainings but do not yet have them scheduled. We will be sure to send out the dates and locations as soon as we can.

Attached you will find the templates.
