Fiscal Audits

We understand the anxiety this legislation is causing our community and are working diligently to find a remedy. Any new information that comes from Sacramento on changes or solutions will be forwarded to you as soon as we are aware of them. Please understand this is not a change that will occur quickly as it is currently set in California law and needs to be altered through the legislative process. This “process” requires time as we jump through each “hoop” along the way….please bear with us, we are doing everything we can.

We have received numerous emails/calls regarding the deadline letters sent from specific Regional Centers. Unfortunately, it is doubtful we will have a resolution in Sacramento within the 30 days, we are very sorry. Please know we are providing this information to the Legislators and attempting to find a solution...if one is found you will be informed as soon as we know.

We still need documentation regarding the fees and timelines from CPA’s for the fiscal audits and reviews. You can email them to this address or fax them to 714.464.2917.

Affordable Care Act - "Obama Care"

We had the opportunity to gather some more specific information pertaining to the Affordable Care Act and how it may affect providers. Please see the attached documents. We will continue to work toward gaining additional insight and will keep you abreast of any aspects that may impact the provider community.

Orange County Training

The training scheduled for next Wednesday, March 20 in Orange County has been cancelled - we apologize for any inconvenience. We will let you know as soon as we can reschedule this particular topic. The next training is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15. We will send out a reminder and details prior to the date.

We have received several questions about our website. Unfortunately, it has been down for some time but we have secured a consultant who is currently helping us get it back up. We will be sure to let you know when it is launched…stay tuned!

Have info on rates for financial audit received May 2013 from 2 sources:

 

1) $10,000

2) $9,000 to $11,000

 

Have been perusing Vendor Advisory Minutes and only info I got out coming out of RCOC

is that they need documentation from vendors that efforts are being made to meet the

statutory requirement.
