The Government has announced that the 128 member organisations of the
Survivors Trust , a national umbrella charity for specialist third
sector rape, sexual violence and abuse services for women, men, girls
and boys; and the 38 member organisations of the Rape Crisis group
will be able to apply for a share of a £1.6 million of new funding
being made available for 2009/10. T
his year's funding comes from: £1million from the Government
Equalities Office, £503,000 from the Department of Health, and
£100,000 from the Home Office.
Organisations that are members of Rape Crisis (England and Wales) and
The Survivors' Trust and provide front-line services to victims of
rape and sexual abuse will be eligible to apply....
