Is there a limit on the number of attendees? And how many beds? Specifically, how will we know if we need to bring a tent?

We have an informal limit of 35 people. If you're bringing a tent we
could work out a discount.

I will add that there is not that much space for tents and I think it
is actually frowned upon by the owners. We had one last year and it
wasn't an issue but I think if we had more than that it might damage
the relationship with the venue.

Hm. Same weekend as, and yet much cooler than, AngelHack.
I suspect I'm going to Maine ;-)

Thanks, Brian. Not looking for a discount, more like making sure I'd get a bed.

The best way to assure that is to get up there early enough to stack claim.

I'll be asking that people bring inflatable beds and such just in case.

Will there be vegetarian friendly food options? Asking for a friend who might come.

Thanks for setting this up!

I just bought my ticket.

I've got room to spare in my Minivan. I'm coming from North of Portland ME, but I'm happy to bring fellow travelers if anyone is up this way, or in Portland.

Sweet, I'll setup some docs for coordination rides when we get closer
to the event

We've got a group of 5 that might roll out from Portland shortly.  I'm not actually sure when Brian gets there to unlock the camp though.

Thanks, Brian for organizing all of this, and thanks to all for
attending, participating and sharing. I learned a lot and came away
from RailsCamp re-energized.

I wanted to pass along a link here for a possible activity during or
before Rails Camp next year. Fellow camper Mark showed me this one.

Bryant Pond is AKA Lake Christopher, and the rock wall on the far side
of the lake is Mount Christopher. The UMaine 4-H Camp and Learning
Center maintains a camp with an trail open to the public, about 2.5
miles long, of moderate difficulty. It looks like it might be a fun
hike for Friday afternoon. Here's the link:

We tried to hike this trail on Sunday afternoon... but summer camp was just starting and they didn't let us in. Not blaming them - I'd be suspect of a car full of weird looking guys too. Especially around the kids camp.
