Ok .. problem fixed.  Provisioning my new cable card somehow deleted my model from their provisioning records ... all is (mostly) well again.

BTW, what is the base (non-upgraded) package speed that we are supposed to be getting in Highland Village?

I am experiencing terrible internet service tonight in Highland Village. I have their largest internet package at $100/month, but am having issues tonight and many other days as well.

Hey Steven,


RCN responded to me to tell me what happened with the internet.  I guess that
a number of modems were not accessing the network on the correct channels and instead bunching up and causing the problem. This was corrected by the operations and IT departments.
