REMARKS
Each scholarship within the frame of Enhanced danceWEB-Europe is
cofinanced by the European Union (Culture 2000 programme), by Austrian
funding bodies and by local funding from the home country of the
nominee (but no private persons as sponsors). This last part is not
yet secured in all countries. Therefore the applicants are encouraged
(in cooperation with the danceWEB office in Vienna) to look for
possible funding institutions in their home countries. It is a good
idea to check the former danceWEBers from your home country and where
they received funding from.

Depending on the available sources of financing, 1 or 2 participants
per country are selected from countries of the European Union. In
addition, a total of 15-20 participants from Central and Eastern
European countries as well as a small number from other regions of the
world (Africa, South-East Asia, North/South America, Australia) are
selected each year.
