What would be the feasibility of porting this incredible software over to the RPi? I understand the Pi lacks an RTC so it isn't quite as quick as the arduino, but I am sure such development would be appreciated and used by many, either with a standalone Pi or in conjunction with other devices that do the real-time heavy lifting such as copter stabilization while the Pi receives and communicates user instructions to the device.

I am just thinking about this because of all the other uses the Pi is capable of. You could theoretically be hosting a minecraft server inside your RC car as it zips down the stairs of a hotel, streaming AC/DC out its attached speakers all the while you are 30 miles away at Starbucks. Just saying. :P

Thanks for your kind words. I dont currently have plans to port RCKit to RPi.

Cheers.

How about the Arduino Yun?

Interesting board and interesting idea.

But from what I can see, the Bridge library (that lets the arduino side talk
to WiFi) does not support UDP, which is essential to the RCOIP protocol that
RCKit uses.
