Subject: as stated

to my fellow dear rotarians (Fort Bonifacio Global City Chapter)

I write to express my thanks for welcoming me and my colleagues into rotary.

I have always looked up to Rotary as a very distinguished group of unselfish individuals sharing their time, talent and treasure to uplift the lives of people who need help.

I cannot help but feel guilty of not being able to take an active role, and in fact being a disappointment lately especially to my friend Ms Edna, because of my somewhat unresponsive approach to being a rotarian.

the past 2 months have been very challenging for my family.  my wife had radical mastectomy 12 weeks ago and we are now on treatment phase.  her condition needs my full time attention, my physical presence is of utmost importance.

And so i write to send my apologies to all of you, and seek your understanding that I have to take a Leave of Absence, if there is such a thing, from Rotary activities until my wife has fully recovered from this emotionally draining  ordeal.

Thank you very much and God Bless us all

Andrew
