We have 15 Vasco GO6 keys we would like to register into our inventory. We did not buy the keys directly, but through our outsourced IT company who passed on the keys to us. OpenOTP and WebADM are all fully installed. However, we have not received a PKSC file from Vasco or RCDevs, nor can we find one online to reference.

We have the Sample Inventory CSV from the WebADM server but information seems unique per key and is of no use to us. Can anybody guide us as to where to go from here?

Do we have to have the PKSC file? And is it specific to our batch of keys we have ordered? I.E. are they linked to the physical keys themselves.

Thanks in advance!

Firstly, is it a GO6 OATH or DIGIPASS versions? It's not the same Tokens and OpenOTP only supports OATH GO6.

The inventory format is for Tokens provided by RCDEVS (for direct import into the Inventory database).
With other tokens, vendors should provide PSKC (the OATH token import standard). In OpenOTP you can import the PSKCs.
Alternatively you can register Tokens is you have the secret seeds in Hex format (without PSKC).

Note: If you have a Vasco PSKC file then you can convert it to an inventory import file with the tool /opt/webadm/openotp/bin/pkskc
Or alternatively you edit a user, choose OTP actions -> Import PSKC -> load the PKCS and choose export to inventory.

Sorry I'm not sure I fully understand - the model we have is this:

http://www.vasco.com/products/client_products/single_button_digipass/digipass_go6.aspx

which is also recommended by the RCDevs website as a compatible hardware token.

We feel this is simply miscommunication between the supplier and us, regarding the PSKC file, but wanted some clarification on this.

We understand that we need to have the specific format in order to enter the keys into the inventory, we just do not have this which is a real nightmare.

Just check with vendor if it's OATH version or not. they look the same but the alto inside if different.
If it's OATH, then you should be able to get the PSKC from vendor.

Inventory is not the issue at all. You can convert ti inventory after. It's very easy.
