Fwd: Academic Clubs/Societies to organize Academic Competition/Contest among UTP students

Hi guys, for our upcoming MPPK we need to explain and stress this matter to all the Presidents to conduct and Academic Event or Competition to all the UTP students in order to approve their own events easily without any problem. This is a must for them to conduct such a event before end of this year 31st December 2013. Why is it so, because it can be said as the requirement from Student Support Service Department (SSSD)........And the important thing is, not many Clubs, Society, Student Body knows about it, so its our job to spread to them during MPPK.....

Dear all Presidents/leaders of UTP Academic Clubs/Societies,

 

In maintaining and improving the status of excellent university, UTP strongly encourages your club/society to organize at least one (1) academic competition or contest among UTP students (internal) relevant to the academic background of your club/society before end of this year (before 31 December 2013).

 

It is hoped that you can start to send your proposal to us in advance early before the proposed date of the competition/contest in order to get our official approval and to give ample time for you to organize it properly.

 

If the academic competition/contest you plan to organize meets the vision and mission of UTP, the approval will be given.

 

Also, in the cover letter of your proposal, you may request for some monetary sponsorship from UTP to cover part of your club’s/society’s expenses to organize the competition/event.

 

The amount approved from what you request will be at the discretion of UTP management.
